Rebecca Ohser
Technical Sales Representative
Rebecca first came to Mantz Automation in 2016 and has worked in every department in the shop, from design through polishing. During her time in the industry Rebecca has completed a tool and die apprenticeship and has also accumulated several degrees. Currently Rebecca makes up one half of Mantz’s Technical sales department. Her high energy approach and exceptional communication skills make her a strong customer advocate during the tool build process. Outside of work Rebecca’s life revolves around the farm and hobby farm animals she cares for everyday.

Kyle Friday
Technical Sale Representative
Kyle’s 25+ years in plastic mold building experience is on full display when customers have questions. Kyle’s deep understanding in all aspects of mold building is well known. If you need an expert’s advice in your tooling project, Kyle is your man. When Kyle is not at work you likely find him fishing or hitting golf balls.

Todd Doerfert
Shop Operations Manager
Starting in the CNC department back in 1990 Todd has seen many changes at Mantz Automation. Now as Operations Manager Todd works closely with all departments to remove roadblocks in the production process. Although he will tell you his real passion is working on getting the next generation of tool and die makers into the trade. Todd works closely with schools to promote all the opportunities Tool and Die has to offer.

Ed Newman
Project Manager
Ed is old school. Just ask him, he will tell you. Ed’s approach to customer service and project management is the way it used to be. Ed literally grew up in tool and die, and with multiple family members in the trade Ed learned how things “should be done”. The real secret to Ed’s approach is his sense of duty and empathy for the customers’ needs, it is evident in the way he conducts business. When Ed is not at work he might be working in the yard, or possibly on the boat or golf course, but he will definitely be surrounded by family.

Dan Gundrum
Design Department Manager
Dan is a mechanical genius. Anybody who has worked with Dan will agree. The typical farm kid, Dan grew up in a world where you have to solve problems. Over the last 25+ years Dan has seen a lot of opportunities for solutions. Now as Mantz Automations design manager Dan has plenty to keep him busy. When Dan isn’t inventing clever ways to design molds he is probably in his wood shop making beautiful furniture.

Scott Zylka
Machining Project Manager
Scott started at Mantz Automation after completing technical school. Over the years Scott has gone from new hire in the CNC department to department manager. Scott currently heads our Contract machining group. The expertise Scott brings to this department is well earned. When he isn’t at work you may find Scott at a sporting event cheering on local football and baseball teams.
