Mantz Automation has expert ability in the engineering and building of many types of molds including three-plate, unscrewing, shuttle, stack gas-assist, hot runner, overmold, and two-shot thermoplastic tool varieties. We also design and manufacture thermoset tools, including those used for injection (rising island, gate cutters), injection compression, compression, and RIM molding.

Having expanded to our second location, we can now handle customer needs from small unit dies to large multi-part tooling projects. Mantz Automation can also cater to the transportation needs of our customers with pickup and delivery capabilities for loads up to 19,000 lbs.

In addition to our extensive computer-aided and automated capabilities, we also offer a full range of traditional machining services to meet every need, large or small. Aluminum & Zinc Die Cast Tooling:
Specializing in single cavity or multi-cavity dies which contain slides and complex geometries, Mantz Automation has the team to build to your specifications. Engineering expertise trained to work with your product designer and your die caster to design and build a high quality tool to meet your production requirements at competitive prices and aggressive lead times. Tooling size is no challenge to Mantz Automation. We are capable of handling weights up to 20,000 lbs. Along with state of the art CNC equipment to match in our new 75,000 sq. ft. tooling plant.

Tool Resurfacing & Repair:
We also have the expertise to refurbish or repair your existing tooling back to original geometries. Our refurb team will scan your existing tool and work from your part model or other tool prints to resurface washout and heat checked areas, as well as repair worn holder block and components. Our in-house welding specialists have over 30 years of tool welding experience. We can assure that your tool steel is properly prepared, pre-heated, welded, and stress relieved to be certain that the new surface will meet your expected tool life.
